I’m the Operations Manager and have worked for Swift since 2007. I originally joined the company as an evening account manager and was promoted in 2012 to Operations Manager. It is my responsibility to report into the Directors and overseeing the Account Managers on a day-to-day basis.
Some days I will be out with the morning team and on others working with my own evening accounts and the evening management team. My days are varied and could include seeing clients during the day, visiting new starts as well as working with all the account managers and their teams of cleaners.
I am very fortunate, in that I am involved in all aspects of our business, which I find very rewarding. Our team is always client focussed and are proactive with regard to finding and resolving any issues before they arise.
Health and safety management is also a key priority area along with client satisfaction. My philosophy is never to ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn’t do myself and sometimes I find myself cleaning to demonstrate the correct and safe way to carry out the task.
I live in Hertfordshire and in my free time spend time with my wife, three children and granddaughter and can often be found early mornings out walking our two dogs, Norman and Alfie.
