/ Hazel Jeffery - Customer Services Manager

Hazel Jeffery

I joined Swift in 2008. I had worked in a variety of sales, customer service and general management positions in a range of industries.  

At that time, the company was updating it’s profile and had increased it’s customer base and as well as recruiting new account managers, I was lucky enough to be selected to join the company at this very exciting time as their Customer Services Manager. I am also part of the Health & Safety Group. We have been working with an outside consultant recently on updating our Health & Safety information.

The business has changed and grown in this time and has evolved in the period I’ve worked here. My role is to ensure we offer customer service best practice to all clients. We monitor, maintain and manage standards with monthly client review meetings and weekly team meetings to ensure standards are met and maintained.

I believe communication is crucial to ensure clients are kept satisfied – we like to do what we say we will. This is a personal mantra of mine and fundamental to the basis of excellent customer service. We are part of a great team and all work very well together with our goal being to keep our customers satisfied and resolving issues before they arise. Our team includes Emma Campling and myself.

Emma provides first line support for account managers and clients alike she ensures clients’ orders are placed and delivered and will also provide advice on product selection for clients as we can offer them a wide range of paper products for washrooms along with specialist products for specific cleaning activities. Emma also works alongside the account managers on the first stage of recruiting cleaners.

Out of work I enjoy a wide variety of social activities and can often be found planning my next visit to Turkey – a favourite holiday destination!
